By-elections Materials arrive at Kamuzu International Airport

Malawi Electoral Commission says ballot papers and other polling materials for November 5 by-elections will arrive at Kamuzu International Airport on Friday, November 1, 2019.

According to Director, Media and Public Relations for the Commission Sangwani Mwafulirwa they will arrive on Emirates flight EK9747 at five minutes past 3 in the afternoon

“The ballot papers and supporting documents for Matenje Ward will be taken straight to Kasungu,” said Mwafulirwa

However, he says the Ballot Papers for postponed Lilongwe South by-elections will be taken to the MEC head office in Blantyre for safe keeping.
