High court in Mzuzu has ruled that DPP Parliamentary candidate for Nkhatabay central constituency Symon Vuwa Kaunda won the elections.
Judge Thomas Ligowe said PP candidate Raphael Mhone who challenged the results failed to give evidence that they were tampered.
Speaking to reporters Vuwa Kaunda said was happy with the ruling.
“Mhone drag me to court because he is the lawyer,” he said
However, Mhone refused to speak to journalists
Symon Vuwa Kaunda is the Minister in the government of Malawi
