Joint Civil Society Platform on Governance JSCPG has postponed March for peace which was slated to commence on Friday August 23 2019.
Chairperson of the platform Bright Kampaundi has said this is due to court summons on an impending injunction sought by Malawi Revenue Authority MRA, ADL and NOCMA intending to stop the march.
Kampaundi says the matter came before High court for an interparty hearing on 22nd August 2019.
“The court reserved its ruling and we have been made to believe that it will be done later today,” he said
Kamapaundi said will hold press briefing on Saturday August, 24 2019 to outline the way forward after the court’s outcome of the case.
