UTM Demands Resolutions On Electoral Complaints

UTM has demanded resolutions on complaints from various polling stations on elections presented to Malawi Electoral Commission.

In a statement Publicity secretary of UTM Dr Joseph Chidanti Malunga says the party also presented its complaints to MEC which are among the 147 concerns.

Malunga cited the transfer of the name of Dr Saulos Chilima from Lilongwe to Chizumulu Island.

“The commission has not responded to the concerns but UTM members are entitled to know the resolutions before announcement of the results,” Chidanti Malunga stressed

He said if MEC does not release the resolutions it will fuel their dissatisfaction on electoral process and outcomes.
