Malawi launches TV satellite villages’ project
President Professor Peter Mutharika has called for an end to hate speech in the country.
Mutharika was speaking during the launch of satellite TV villages’ project in Mponela Dowa.
“Malawi cannot develop if people are busy insulting each other,” Mutharika said
Speaking at the same function Chinese ambassador to Malawi said “satellite TV villages’ project will bring benefits directly to people in the country.”
He said through the project China will donate solar digital equipment.
