Employee Robs FDH Bank Over K11.5m

An employee has robbed FDH Bank over 11.5 million kwacha at its branch in Dowa.

Police have identified the suspect as Joseph Moyo who was working as a teller.

Public Relations Officer for Dowa police Sergeant Richard Kaponda said “on 23rd April, 2018 the Bank’s Branch Manager McFare Phalula gave Moyo the money to serve the customers but later left the Till unattended after faking illness and disappeared with the money.”

Kaponda said CCTV footage have showed that the suspect emptied the ATM Vault early in the morning.
