Parliament has passed the constitutional amendment bill which allows members of parliament to participate in the implementation of CDF
All the 199 members of parliament that were present voted in support of the bill while 25 were absent.
The bill was presented by member of Mzimba south Chambulanyina jere and Minister of Justice Charles Mhango commended Legal Affairs Committee for adopting the bill
In his speech speaker of parliament Sameer Suleman asked the minister to fast track the bill when the president assents to it
