Ministry engages Journalists on Outbreaks

Ministry of Health has advised Malawians not to panic with Marburg virus outbreak in Tanzania saying the country is on alert.

Speaking at a media engagement on health related outbreaks including cholera, measles and Ebola Deputy Director of Community and Promote Health, Dr Kondwani Mamba, said government is strictly monitoring people across the borders, training the health workers and community awareness on the disease

He has appealed to the public to report to any nearest health facilities when they come across someone suspected of suffering from a strange disease.
