
Chakwera thanks South Korea on Education Support
President Lazarus Chakwera has lauded South Korea for its contribution to education in Malawi
Speaking during the graduation of students in Nursing and Midwifery as well as Information Communication Technology at Daeyang University Chakwera said over 40 Malawian students have benefited from scholarships to study in South Korea
The president said success and development flourishes by forging partnerships.
Chakwera advised the graduants to contribute to productivity of Malawi so that it turns into a middle income economy
Korean Ambassador to Malawi, resident in Zimbabwe, Jae-Kyung Park, has hailed strong ties between Malawi and Korea, marking 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
One of the graduating students, Glory Jack acknowledged the role families and lecturers play in the student’s educational journey.
