Malawian students go to Morocco to study
15 Malawian students have gone to Morocco on a scholarship to study
Speaking before their departure at Kamuzu International Airport Minister of Higher Education DR Jessie Kabwila said so far 69 students have already been sent to Morocco totalling up to 84 students and 16 more will be sent next week.
Kabwira said the scholarship represents individual achievement and a testament to government commitment to fostering educational excellence and international collaboration.
Moroccan Ambassador Naji Abdelkader said the knowledge and experiences which the Malawian students will gain in Morocco will empower them to foster positive change in their communities.
Abdelkader said the students will be equipped to contribute significantly to Malawi’s development and progress
