Balaka Secondary School Students fight over Food

18 students have been injured at Balaka secondary school following a fight between form 3 and form 4 students.

The fight began over the misunderstanding on which students must be the first to receive food between the two classes.

According to Balaka police spokesperson, Gladson M’bumpha the students fought during midnight and school property has been destroyed

He says the injured students are receiving treatment at Balaka district hospital.
