Albarakah Charity Trust equips farmers with modern farming skills
Albarakah Charity Trust has equipped small scale farmers with modern farming skills to harvest bumper yields and generate more income.
The two day training was provided by Madaris Qurania at Assalam Complex which is under Albarakah Charity Trust for farmers of Traditional Authorities Chimwala
Speaking during the final day of the workshop director of Madaaris Qurania Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Ballah said the purpose of the training was to help communities who do small scale farming to be self-reliant and support their families
Sheikh Ballah encouraged farmers to work as a team and utilise the solar pump machines accordingly for their sustainability
Commenting on behalf of her fellow farmers Latifa Grant from Mpinganjira 2 thanked Albarakah Charity Trust for the initiative adding the training was an eye opener to them and promised to put into use the knowledge they have gained
