MACRA withdraws Ankolo.com Licence

Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority MACRA has withdrawn the renewal of a commercial domestic intercity courier licence issued to Ankolo.com for failure to settle financial obligations

Executive director of MACRA Daud Suleman Ankolo.com was required to pay a levy amounting to over 5.7 million kwacha by 20^th October as a condition for the renewal of the licence but this condition was not satisfied

Following this development the public notified that Ankolo.com is no longer authorized to provide courier services in Malawi

The authority has commended all operators who adhere to their licence conditions and pay licence fees on time and urging those with outstanding payments to settle them before their due dates.
