Women Arrested of Creating, Circulating Information on Murder Cases
Malawi Police Service has arrested three women suspected to be behind creation and circulation of information relating to murder cases in Lilongwe
The three who were arrested on Monday 23rd October in Blantyre and Lilongwe are Mercy Chiligo, Chipiliro Kalima and police officer inspector Susan Kachinga
According to public relation officer for police senior superintendent Peter Kalaya has charged the three with cyber bullying as well as defamation of character and will be taken to court in Blantyre
Their arrest occurred as magistrate court committed to High Court the murder case which Lester Maganga, personal assistant to information Minister Moses Kumkuyu is answering
Maganga is suspected to have killed former marketing manager of Cocacola Company Allan Witika on 20th September because of a woman
The police said there is no evidence connecting the information minister in the murder of Witika
