Palestine Solidarity Movement conducts vigils in support of the Palestinian people
Palestine Solidarity Movement Malawi has held a one day vigil in support of the Palestinian people who are suffering at the hands of Israeli soldiers.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Islam, National Coordinator for Palestine Solidarity Movement, Asabuni Phiri, says the group will be engaging Malawians to stand with Palestinians in their trying moments.
Phiri says, “this is issue is an issue of human rights, let us not take it as a religious issue. The people that are dying in Palestine are human being.”
According to Phiri they are expecting people in the country to bring out ideas of how the movement can help towards the advancement of its agenda.
In her remarks, one of the members of the movement Nadin Patel urged world leaders to use the international peace accords to protect and promote rights of the Palestine people.
