Democratic Progressive Party DPP has appointed Jappie Mhango as its vice president for northern region

Spokesperson of DPP Shadric Namalomba says the central executive committee of the party chaired by president met on Monday to approve Mhango’s appointment in accordance with its constitution

The office of DPP Vice President Northern Region fell vacant following the death of Goodall Gondwe on 8^th August

Mhango is a member of Parliament for Rumphi North and one of the DPP prominent politicians
