Muslims Should Do Qunoot for Palestinians-Majilis Ulama Council

Majilis Ulama Council of Malawi has called upon Muslims in the country to observe special prayers for people of Palestine who are being abused by Israel

In a statement Grand Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Uthman Mtalika says this is in accordance with the teaching of prophet Muhammad that Muslims should pray for each other in times of difficulty.

The Grant Mufti says the call has also been extended to all masjids to take out time during Friday Jumua prayers to make QUNOOT for the Palestine’s who are facing oppression by Israel Jews.

Speaking with Radio Islam Secretary General for the Council Sheikh Muslim Abas Vinjenje says it is important to help Palestinians defend their rights.
