Muslim families advised to raise kids in Islamic way
Muslim families in Malawi have been advised to take seriously the upbringing of their kids by raising them in an Islamic environment.
The remarks were made at Naperi Masjid during dawah activity with an aim to raise awareness on Islamic point of view and evils of same sex marriages.
Speaking to radio Islam after the ceremony, chairperson of Naperi Masjid Sheikh Imran Ntenje said they organized the dawah to bring to attention of Muslims what Islam says about same sex marriages and advising parents to protect their children from homosexuality
Sheikh Njenje said homosexuality is prohibited in Islam and Muslims should be aware of the dangers that come from it in the society.
Concurring with Sheikh Ntenje, Sheikh Zaid Abdulrashid Abu Muhammad from Salima who shared his lecture entitled Islamic stand on LGBTQ said religious leaders have obligation to bring awareness to people on dangers of same sex marriage in the society.
