Islamic Information Bureau Opens Islamic Civilization Exhibition

Islamic Information Bureau (IIB) has opened Islamic civilization exhibition mounted at Pamodzi Park building in Blantyre

Speaking during the opening ceremony IIB Coordinator, Abdulhameed Chibwe, said the facility is designated to accommodate everyone to learn more about Islam.

Chibwe said “the exhibition will also be providing information on the role Islam played towards civilization of Africa as a continent and the world as a whole.”

On his part Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) publicity secretary has commended Islamic organizations that are carrying programs aimed at putting Islam on the map.

Sheikh Dinala Chabulika, said the facility will in one way expose what Islam is all about.

He therefore appealed to people regardless of their religious background to patronize the place and learn more about Islam.
