MANEB allows candidates whose fees were swindled to write examinations
Malawi National Examination Board MANEB has allowed candidates of standard 8, form 2 and form 4 whose fees were swindled by school authorities to write this year’s examinations
In a secular addressed to district education managers and other educational officials MANEB says standard 8 national examinations will be administered end of June and an official timetable will be released soon.
As such, MANEB has requested all schools whose candidates were affected to write to MANEB before 7th of June 2023
Speaking with Radio Islam director of education for Mangochi Labson Kawalala said according to arrangement the district education office will pay examinations fees to MANEB on behalf of the candidates
According to Kawalala 20 JCE candidates whose fees were mismanaged are writing the examinations and the education office will claim the money from their schools later
