Blantyre Malabada MP to establish company for poverty eradication

Member of Parliament for Blantyre Malabada is contemplating of establishing a company as a tool to end poverty in his area.

In an interview with Radio Islam, Parliamentarian for the area, Ishmael Mkumba, said establishing the social enterprise which will be making profits will directly benefit the community.

Mkumba said the enterprise will consist of several companies in manufacturing, agriculture, transportation and education among others.

He therefore called on his subjects to support the idea through buying shares in the company so that it should not be one man’s show.
