Democratic Progressive Party trashes Nsonda’s allegations

Democratic Progressive Party DPP has trashed Mr Ken Nsonda’s endless outrageous allegations against the party and its leadership.

Nsonda has time and again alleged that some of the leaders in DPP including President Peter Muthalika, administrative secretary Hon Francis and national organizing secretary Chipungu are behind the mess that has been created in the party.

In a statement spokesperson for DPP president Shadrick Namalomba said Mr Nsonda is neither member of National Governing Committee nor deputy director of research and training as he claims as such his views do not reflect the state of the party.

He said the remarks by Nsonda bordering on criminality, slander and libel are undermining and disrespecting senior members of the party

Namalomba therefore said the party will not hesitate to take action if Nsonda continues with his malicious and unsubstantiated claims against the party and its leadership.

However reacting to the development, Nsonda said it is unfortunate that the party is still pushing unnecessary issues that are derailing efforts to putting back DPP in order.
