South Africa opposition protest power cuts
South Africa’s main opposition party, Democratic Alliance (DA), has held a march in Johannesburg to protest against worsening power cuts across the country.
The march headed towards headquarters of governing party, African National Congress ANC.
The regular blackouts have been blamed on government’s poor management of power utility, Eskom, and an aging fleet of coal-fired stations.

South Africa has been experiencing regular blackouts since last year, leaving homes, hospitals and businesses in the dark for several hours each day.
