Ministry awards five districts on immunization performance
Ministry of health has awarded five districts that have done well in immunization services in the past five years
Speaking during the awarding ceremony Minister responsible Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda said each zone received 2.8 million kwacha
Chiponda said Rumphi district is the winner in northern region zone, Kasungu in central east, Ntcheu in central west, Balaka in south east and Chiradzulu in south west zone.
In his remarks Malawi Health equity Network executive director George Jobe said the awards will encourage immunization officers to work hard in their health facilities
Speaking the best winner from Kasungu district who is the district environmental officer Rudolf Banda said the facility faces reluctance of some communities to receive vaccines
