Speaking to radio Islam, representative of all Islamic organizations that run preschools in Malawi, Sheikh Fahad kamsuli said “establishment of more early childhood development centres where Muslim children can learn Islamic values at a tender age will help to mold future Muslim leaders and better society.”
On this note he commended some organizations like meheboob, Albarakah, alhuda and Billal Trust for having ECD centres that offer Islamic and secular studies in Mangochi district and called others to emulate the gesture.
In his speech Director of child welfare in the ministry of gender Mcnight Kalanda called on corporate world to support Early Childhood Development education in Malawi.
Kalanda said though ECD initiative is going well in Malawi, there are some gaps in terms of infrastructures and learning materials hence calling for companies to support in these areas.
