Queen Elizabeth dies aged 96, after reigning 70 years
President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has directed that flags should fly at half-mast following the death of Queen Elizabeth of United Kingdom and head of common wealth
According to secretary to president and cabinet Collen Zamba the flags will fly at half-mast for 10 days
Meanwhile, Chakwera has signed a condolence book at the British High Commissioner’s office in Lilongwe
Queen died on Thursday at the age of 96 after ruling the country for 70 years.
Her son Prince Charles has taken over the throne
