DPP challenges Msonda
Democratic Progressive Party DPP has challenged Ken Msonda to stop speaking on behalf of its president Professor Peter Mutharika
In a statement signed by spokesperson of DPP President Shadric Namalomba Msonda should stop representing himself as a member of national governing council
Namalonda says Msonda is telling lies which is to commit a crime
“Msonda has always wished albeit without success to be Mutharika’s political confidant,” Namalomba
The DPP spokesperson further says Mutharika is shocked and disappointed with Msonda’s claim about having regular conversation with the president on his candidacy for 2025 presidential elections
Namalonda has disclosed that for the past 12 months now Msonda and Mutharika have not spoken to each other
He has stressed that Msonda was neither elected at 2018 political conference nor subsequently appointed
Reacting to this Nsonda said some officials of DPP want to weaken the party.
