Concerned Citizens to hold demonstrations against rising cost of living in Malawi
Concerned Citizens will hold national wide demonstrations against rising cost of living in Malawi on 31st March 2022
Speaking with radio Islam, national coordinator for the concerned citizens Oliver Nakoma said the rising prices of goods such as bread, sugar and cooking oil is a result of poor leadership not global economic challenges.
Nakoma said lack of visionary leadership is dragging Malawians in extreme economic woes as cost of living rises daily.
“Therefore, this is why his grouping is mobilizing mass demonstrations to force those in government to devise measures that would see change in how economic challenges are addressed in Malawi.
Similar demonstrations were held against tonse alliance government led by President Dr Lazarus Chakwera
Chakwera and his vice president Dr Saulos Chilima promised Malawians a lot of promises during campaign for presidential elections by two years after assuming office they have not fulfilled them
