Muslim girls advise to disassociate from immoral behaviours

Muslim girls in Mangochi have been advised to disassociate themselves from activities that are contrary to Islamic teachings and get ready to go back to school in the new academic year.

The call was made during the closing of a 3 days sisters’ camp at Mpima masjid where two hundred and ten girls attended

Speaking guest of honour who is programs manager at Mangochi development and education center MADEC under Albarakah charity trust Sheikh Abubakar Kananji encouraged the girls to take Islamic and secular education seriously as it is the only key towards brighter future

” I thank Chairlady Sabina Fonesi for organizing such a wonderful camp saying Muslim women across the country should borrow a leaf from her,” Sheikh Kananji

In her remarks Fonesi applauded the girls for their participation saying what they have learnt should be sharing to others for them to benefit too

Fonesi said the aim of the camp was to make sure that Muslim girls grow with good morals and be best examples in the society

She commended second deputy speaker of parliament honorable Aisha Mambo Adams for the usual support saying as the MP she has been supportive whenever they call for her assistance

Meanwhile one of the participants Aisha Msosa said “the camp has helped them to realise a lot of things adding it has been an eye opener to some things they were doing unknowingly.”

Msosa therefore urged Muslim girls in the district to be part of the camp next year in order to be part of beneficiaries of the programs
