IVM launches fundraising for Mufti Abbas University

Government has applauded Islamic Vision and Mission IVM for initiating a project to establish a university in Malawi

Minister of homeland security honorable Richard Chimwendo Banda said this during the launch of fundraising for the construction of Mufti Abbas Islamic university under the theme: self-help initiative” aimed at taking education standards to another level

The Minister who represented state President Dr Lazarus Chakwera said IVM is in line with the vision of Malawi to have quality education standards

He therefore urged IVM to work hand in hand with government for the project to be achieved

In his remarks vice chairperson of IVM former ambassador Yahya Mmadi said “Mufti Abbas University will transform the youth by imparting different knowledge and skills.”

He thanked all people who contributed towards the project and appealed to Malawians of goodwill to continue sending their donations since it will run for five years.
