Government to increase selling points in affordable input program
Ministry of agriculture has said will increase the number of selling points through ADMARC and SFFRFM to deal with the shortage of the fertilizer in many areas across the country
Minister of agriculture said this in the national assembly when he was presenting the long awaited Ministerial statement regarding the program
Lobin Lowe assured Malawians that they will access the fertilizer because ADMARC and SFFRFM have enough
He appealed to Members of parliament to help in transporting fertilizer in affordable input program for it to be available across the country
Lowe said they will not force any company to supply the fertilizer and warned that “government will deal with unpatriotic vendors who want to disturb the program.”
In his statement the agriculture admitted that 13 companies have pulled out of the program
