Ministry of trade has said government has not authorized import of scrap metal

Sosten Gwengwe told parliament that government only authorized export of such metal

Gwengwe said the state of art Mchinji border post is ready for opening soon

In his ministerial statement on land the minister responsible Kezzie Msukwa said a lot of land is owned by foreigners in cities hence putting in place stringent measures to ensure equal acquisition

“Government has issued certificates of land ownership to 20 people in Phalombe in land reforms program and the pilot phase is also being carried out in Kasungu and Rumphi,” Gwengwe

The minister asked politicians and members of parliament who are doing poor district physical land development to stop and stated that there are many land disputes

Then Minister of health Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda said vaccination of covid-19 vaccine for members of parliament will start Monday next week
