Madrassa women under Albarakah charity trust in Balaka have vowed to keep their environment clean and do charity works
Speaking during a cleaning exercise at Nandumbo health centre one of the women Magret Njinga said “Islam teaches Muslims to carryout social work and provide necessities to the needy.”
During the exercise the women shared with the patients and health workers some gifts including food items
Commenting on the development medical assistant at Nandumbo health centre Gilbert Chanthinya thanked the women for the support and encouraged them to continue cleaning the hospital
According to Albarakah charity trust senior supervisor for Balaka and Ntcheu districts Sheikh Yusuf Mpunga the trust supports the madrassah women to do social responsibility and charity works
