Parliament postpones 2020-2021 mid-term budget review meeting
Parliament has postponed the 2020-2021 mid-term budget review meeting to Monday 22nd February
Speaker of national assembly Catherine Gotani Hara says the meeting was initially scheduled to be held from Monday 8th February to Friday 12th March
Gotani Hara says this decision has been made by the business committee at its meeting held on Monday 1st February and Tuesday 2nd February
“The business committee has resolved to postpone the meeting in order to assess further developments of covid-19 pandemic and devise appropriate response plans for parliament to meet safely to safeguard lives of members of parliament, staff and all stakeholders,” Gotani Hara
