Radio Islam Listeners in Malawi launch new zone

Radio Islam listeners association has launched a new zone at Chiwaula in tradition authority Chimwala in Mangochi district.

Speaking during the launch councilor for Nkungulu ward Farooq Ibrahim Haneef encouraged the listeners to love one another and refrain from backbiting for the association to be effective.

“Love helps to strengthen the association and brings trust among the members hence the success,” Haneef said

He therefore advised officials of the new zone to be dedicated and have passion in doing charitable activities as they will be volunteers.

Speaking at the launch chairperson for Chimwala Radio Islam listeners zone group village headman Lipende said they had decided to open the new zone at Chiwaula since Chimwala zone is very big.

Group village headman Lipende who is also national advisor for Radio Islam listeners association further said they expect the new zone to perform well in promoting listenership and Islam.
