Muslim girls advised to be fearless

Muslim Sisters Youth Organisation MUSYO in conjunction with Malawi Relief Fund UK and Gift of the Givers Foundation is conducting the 2024 annual sisters camp at Mai Halima Girls Secondary School in Mulanje district

Speaking during the opening of the camp guest of honour Sherrifa Mia says the camp was organised in order to impart different knowledge in the Muslim girls

Mia who is also one of the founders of MUSYO says they want to motivate the girls and provide necessary information on various issues that affect lives of Muslim youth

Programs Manager for Malawi Relief Fund UK Munira Bakali said they decided to sponsor the camp because is a good platform of imparting knowledge and skills to the Muslim girls

Chairperson of the event Maimuna Chindamba advised the girls to focus on education and abide by Islamic rules

She is confident that the young girls who are participating at the MUSYO Camp will achieve their goals because they are learning a lot of issues that will positively change their lives
