Chief Justice urges leaders to be transformative
Chief Justice Rezine Mzikamanda has urged leaders in the country to be transformative if the country is to develop for the better.
He made the remarks during a two-day Dynamic Leaders and Gatekeepers Forum (DLGF) in Lilongwe.
Mzikamanda who was the guest of honor at the event said that transformative leadership is the tool that would help to address challenges which affect the development of the country.
He said it is important to have transformative leadership especially in turbulent time like the one we are going through whereby economically and socially things have gone bad.
Mzikamanda said transformative leadership appeals and responds to challenges which the country is facing.
Therefore he applauded DLGF saying that it would assist to build up transformative leaders in the country.
In his remarks, DLGF Executive Chairman, Dr. Zacc Kawalala said that DLGFs are designed to enhance capacity among the leaders and gatekeepers from various fields within government and private sector in the country.
Among other notable faces the DLGF was also patronized by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma.
