Zain Bhikha promises to solicit funds for flood victims

The renowned International Muslim artist Zain Bhikha says he will try to fundraise money to assist Malawian flood victims.

Bhikha said this in Lilongwe after performing to a large gathering.

Zain Bhikha who is also Goodwill Ambassador for Islamic Relief, whilst in the country visited flood victims in the lower shire.

He told the press that “there will be fundraising event in the United Kingdom next week and I will try to fundraise for the country’s victims because he os touched with the devastation the floods have caused,” pledged Bhika.

Speaking on the art, Bhikha said he is impressed with what Muslim artist are doing and is looking forwarding to collaborating with them.

The shows in Blantyre and Lilongwe were organised by Classic events to help Malawi Muslim awards raise funds for this year’s Muslim awards.
