YONECO launches Parenting in Africa Network

Youth Net and Counselling YONECO says it will this week launch Parenting in Africa Network. According to its press statement, the launching is expected to take place at Sun and Sand Holiday resort in Mangochi district from July 2 to 4.

In response to the increase of teen parents in African countries YONECO is mobilising the support for skilful parenting in Malawi. Mcbain Mkandawire says parenting with skill is encouraged as a tool of responding to many social challenges that affect children and adolescents.

YONECO is therefore spearheading the process of PAN in line with the objectives of African Union plan of Action on the family. The Malawi PAN in line shall be a vehicle for enhancing Malawi’s parenting agenda, to support its government.
