Write Positive Stories about Children – YONECO

Journalists have been urged to write positive stories about children to win the fight against child marriages.

Project Coordinator for Youth Net and Counseling (YONECO) on the initiative of Marriage No Child’s Play, Underson Chikalipo was speaking at Liwonde during media training.

Chikalipo said the media need to be equipped with knowledge on how to report and write stories about children.

He further said social indicators for Mangochi, Nchinji, Nkhatabay and Machinga show that there are high rate of child marriages hence the need for more action.
