UDF to provide free loans to youth and women once voted into power

United Democratic Front presidential candidate Atupele Muluzi has challenged that once voted into power he will provide interest free loans to the youth and women within hundred days of his office.

Speaking during a whistle stop tour in Balaka, Muluzi observed that youth in the country indulge in risky behaviours because they have nothing to keep them busy.

He said youth and women could be turned to agent of development if they are provided with necessary support.

Muluzi said his government will initiate various projects including universal fertilizer subsidy, social protection fund and infrastructure projects.

During the tour Muluzi addressed the crowd gathered at Rivirivi Primary school, Balaka Boma, Ulongwe Community Centre ground, Mwima and Magombo Trading centres.
