TA’s & councillors demand transfer of DC

Traditional leaders and councilors in Karonga have petitioned Ministry of Local government to immediately transfer their district commissioner together with three other senior officers for being rude and not patriotic to their duties.

According to the petition signed by paramount chief Kyungu, senior chiefs, 57 group village heads and councilors they are tired with behavior of these officers.

While government has asked the chiefs and councilors to know their limit Karonga district commissioner Rosemary Moyo has said is ready for the transfer.
