Suspected human trafficker arrested in Malawi

The suspected human trafficking agent Martha Kalazi Mbewe has been arrested in Malawi

Kalazi Mbewe was allegedly trafficking young men and women from Malawi to Middle East

Public relations officer for Malawi Police Service Peter Kalaya said so far ten people have been arrested in relation to the case

Kalaya said Kalazi Mbewe was expected to appear in court in the afternoon of Monday 26 September, 2022

Their arrest follows the press briefing entitled “trapped in Oman” which was hosted by Minister of information Gospel Kazako, labour Vera Kamtukule and foreign affairs Nancy Tembo
