Sheikhs in Malawi attend weeklong workshop

A week long workshop organized by Darrusunnah Foundation for sheikhs has started in Salima district.

The training is being facilitated by sheikh Hamad Ibn Abdul-Aziz Al-Attiq from Saud Arabia.

The country’s grand mufti Sheikh Muhammad Mtalika has graced the official opening with a call to the sheikhs to put into use the knowledge and skills gained in the workshop.

Sheikhs attending a weeklong seminar in Salima have described the program as beneficial because it is refreshing their understanding of Islam

Mufti Musa Telela of Salima district made the remarks on the second day of the training

Mufti Telela said “since the program started he has been learning a lot which he also shared with his congregates.”

He however pleaded with the organizers to consider more sheikhs who are working in rural areas

According to the organizers the workshop is dwelling much on monotheism of Allah

Sheikh Ommar Adam Mkachelenga one of the participants to the seminar explains that has learnt alot in the second day of the training

The seminar has drawn together over 250 participants
