Second Deputy Speaker rescinds UDF Convention Chair resignation

Second deputy speaker Aisha Mambo Adams has rescinded her decision to resign as UDF convention organizing committee chairperson.

Confirming the development to Radio Islam, Adams said she has rescinded her earlier decision following the fruitful discussion party officials had with her to continue serving as the convention chairperson.

She has so far assured UDF supporters and the public that MCP party officials will not be available at the convention slated on 2^nd October 2024.

Adams resigned on Friday after some supporters pounced on her over announcement that the party had invited all political parties including MCP to the convention

All political parties that held their conventions in Malawi this year did not invite MCP
