Roads Authority to renovate washed away roads

Government says the Roads Authority has assured Malawians that it will soon deploy contactors to work at Khangale area that connects Liwonde and Mangochi road which was washed away by heavy rains.
District Commissioner for Mangochi Bester Mandele has said this to radio Islam as the rains are forcing people to wait for a long time especially at the bridge in Khangale area.
Mandele said the Authority will also renovate all roads that have been affected by the rains.
Meanwhile, efforts to speak with the roads authority have proved futile as its spokesperson could not pick up the call.
