RAC introduces ant-human trafficking and violence project in Malawi

Centre Manager for Rights Advice Centre RAC has revealed that Mangochi is not faring well in reduction of human violations especially human trafficking and gender based violence.

Centre Manager for Rights Advice Centre RAC Madalitso Masache made the remarks when briefing district executive meeting DEC on the new project called Tilimbike which focuses on prevention of gender based violence in Mangochi district.

Masache said “the project is expected to use new mechanisms that will ensure that cases of human trafficking and gender based violence are reduced in the district.”

Human trafficking is rampant in the country despite several projects to end the malpractice.
