Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad has questioned credibility of international community for not taking effective action to confront Israeli continued occupation of Palestine
In his video speech at the 75th session of United Nations General Assembly the Emir questioned the role of countries and organisations for failing to uphold resolutions against continued Israeli occupation of Palestine territories and its expansion of settlement building.
He accused Israel of carrying out fragrant violation of international resolutions and the two-state resolution as agreed upon by international community
“Peace can only be achieved when Israel fully commits to international terms of reference and resolutions that are acceptable by Arab countries and upon which Arab Peace Initiative is based,” said Hamad
He called upon the international community particularly UN Security Council to assume its legal responsibilities and compel Israel to lift the siege on Gaza strip and put peace process back on track
