Public institutions survey in Malawi

Government of Malawi is collecting data on the locations of public institutions in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Islam the project coordinator Prosper Mopiwa said the data will be used to develop maps of public institutions.

“The data will assist in prevention of wastage of government resources,” Mopiwa said

The project coordinator further said the one-month survey is being conducted in all districts in the southern and eastern regions.

“The data collection which is being conducted by Malawi Digital Network started on January 28 and will end on February 28,” said Mopiwa

He disclosed that the survey is being financed by World Bank.
