President Orders Ministry To Distribute AIP Fertilizer in 40 days

President Lazarus Chakwera has ordered ministry of agriculture to distribute affordable fertilizer to all 1.5 million beneficiaries within 40 days

Speaking during the launch of this year’s Affordable Inputs Program AIP in Kasungu district Chakwera criticized people who have been saying that AIP should be abolished

Chakwera warned against corruption in the implementation of the 2023 AIP adding that the program is not for all Malawians but the selected beneficiaries

The president disclosed that has made a deal with president of a certain country to be selling wheat produced in Malawi

In his speech Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale said 102 thousand metric tons of fertilizer has been delivered in the country and the selling began Thursday
